What’s a Huddle?

Well, it’s part-way between a workshop and a meeting. It’s a cosy, ultra-supportive, get together for a small group of people, all with the same objective (like penguins, only, hopefully, a bit less stinky).

And, the objective of this Huddle?

To learn how to create an effective, and non-overwhelming, marketing plan that will allow you to find your ideal customers, effectively communicate how your service is of benefit to them, and turn strangers into raving fans, without turning into a stressed-out, over-loaded harridan who’s scary to be around.

What will we learn?

How to:

Set the right marketing objectives for your business so that you are perfectly positioned to meet your revenue targets for 2018.

Identify exactly who is your ideal client, where they hang out and the best ways to communicate with them. Knowing this turns marketing decision making into a doddle.

Put together a checklist of messages that describe your business and clearly communicate its value to your prospects. Having this ready to go will allow you to engage new prospects and bring them into your community with ease.

Develop a ‘campaign approach’ for your business so that you have a ‘hook’ to spark the interest of your audience and plenty to talk about on social media or your website.

Decide which set of marketing activities will help your prospects move through a funnel from stranger to raving fan, and a plan for making them a reality for your business.

Measure your marketing so that you can review what you’ve done, what has worked, what hasn’t and where to tweak it for improved results.

By the end of the day you, you’ll have a clear, prioritised plan of action to make your marketing work in 2018 so that you are ready to hit the ground running in the first week of January.

Who is this event for?

It’s for small business owners who are ready to reduce the stress or choas of marketing their business by creating a clear, organised and strategically sound approach to attracting new customers into their business in 2018.

What can I expect to leave with?

A clear definition of your ideal client, a set of messages that will engage them with your business and raft of well thought out activities for delivering these messages into the right ears.

What if I find it all a bit too confusing?

We’ll be working through a set of worksheets that I use with my clients and I’ll be providing you with plenty of examples on the day. My associate Sian (also a seasoned marketeer) and I will be on hand to offer one to one advice throughout the day.

What if I'm in a total muddle right now, is it the time to join the Huddle?

Yes. The a huddle is an ideal place to work through muddle and overwhelm to the the promised land that is THE MARKETING PLAN. This legendary document is the ultimate panacea for marketing-based muddles.

How long will tickets be available for?

What will Huddle members need to do to prepare for the event?

There will be a bit of easy pre-event homework which you will need to bring with you to the event. This is to help us to hit the ground running on the day, and get straight into the juicy stuff. Of course, if you need help with the homework, I’ll be on hand by email to give you advice.

What can I do if I want a marketing plan for 2018 but the Huddle just isn't my scene?

Of course, I love a Huddle, but it might not be your thing. You might be thinking: I want a slick, organised marketing plan that tells me which step to take next and a set of unique messages for my business that position me perfectly in the mind of my customer, but I just can’t take the time out of my business to attend the Huddle. If this is the case, check out my Design & Build service. This is my ‘done for you service’ where I’ll research and create a tailored plan just for your business. What if I change my mind about coming?

I have designed a cancellation policy for this event, which I think is fair to both of us. If you cancel before the 9th of November, I’ll give you a 100% refund. If you cancel between 9th and 17th November, it’ll be a 50% refund. If you cancel after the 17th November, sorry no refunds, but you are welcome to find somebody who can attend in your place as long as you let me know in writing.
